Handmade Type
I’ve been playing around with different handmade typefaces in birthday cards and just for fun. The illustrated one is tedious mainly because you have to get it all right in one go, whereas the cutout type is also tiresome but is easier to redo. I’m interested in exploring these little character typefaces, which I enjoy for the pun and the possibilities.
Here is some aggressive typography:
This “DAD” one is tricky for other letters, but I have yet to try the whole alphabet. I like it for the simple cuts, but I think you’ll lose that with a lot of other letters, like G.
